Enhanced Multimodal Collaborative Environment (EMCE)

EMCE acted as the "host" to collaborative meetings held at SRI.  EMCE provided as part of its environment, a "smart" whiteboard that would clean up hand-drawn diagrams in realtime, a panoramic video camera that would record a meeting from a 360 degree perspective, and desktop, wireless tablet, and large screen working spaces for meeting participants.  EMCE's software allowed screen and document sharing (with privacy control) and intelligent meeting summarization incorporating video indexing, speaker identification, and dialog analysis.
