Adam Cheyer
Adam has 15 years of experience working with distributed computing and
natural user interfaces, and is a recognized expert in these fields. As VP
of Engineering at Dejima, Adam is responsible for managing Dejima's
engineering staff, technology strategy, and for guiding the company's
product development.
Prior to Dejima, Adam was VP of Engineering and VP of
Advanced Technology at Verticalnet, where he managed R&D for the enterprise
products group, creating a platform and applications that provide visibility
into critical data across the extended enterprise. Before that, Adam was a
Sr. Computer Scientist in SRI's Artificial Intelligence Center and
co-director of SRI's Computer Human Interaction Center. At Bull S.A., Adam
was the architect and lead developer of NOEMIE/COM, used by Bull's
salesforce to configure 30,000 hardware and software products worldwide.

Adam received his bachelor's degree with highest honors from Brandeis
University and a Masters Degree from UCLA's School of Engineering and
Applied Science. Adam was honored with the Outstanding Masters Student
Award.
